What you’ll need
- Two firmware files attached below. Do not rename them.
- A fully charged speaker (50%+ battery recommended) and a USB power adapter.
- One empty USB flash drive (FAT32) or a USB data cable to connect the speaker to a computer, depending on which update method your unit supports.
Before you start
- Charge the speaker to at least 50% and keep it plugged into wall power during the update.
- If using a USB flash drive, format it FAT32 and make sure it’s empty.
Copy only one firmware file at a time to the drive/device
Important: Do not disconnect power, press buttons unnecessarily, or play audio while an update is running.
Update via USB Flash Drive
On your computer, copy File 1 and File 2 to the root of the empty USB drive (do not place them inside folders).
Power ON the speaker.
Put the speaker into Update Mode:
Press and hold the Bluetooth (Pair) button and Volume + together for 2–3 seconds.
Indicators: the status LED will begin to flash rapidly (patterns may vary by hardware revision).
Insert the USB drive into the speaker’s USB port.
The speaker will automatically detect and install the firmware files in sequence.
The process may take several minutes and the speaker may restart more than once.
When the updates are complete, remove the USB drive.
Power the speaker OFF and ON once to finalize the firmware installation.
How to confirm the update
- Set the speaker to a comfortable mid‑volume.
- Trigger any voice prompt (e.g., power OFF/ON, enter pairing mode).
- The prompt should be noticeably quieter than before. If not, repeat Method A/B for File 2 only and re‑test.
