The original smaller Fugoo speaker will correctly say "Bluetooth off" when an audio cable is connected to its audio input jack.
The bigger Fugoo XL speaker will correctly say "Wired input on" when an audio cable is connected to its audio input jack.
If your speaker says "Bluetooth off"... "Bluetooth on" or "Wired input on" when no audio cable is connected, the speaker mistakenly thinks that an audio cable is being connected, and then disconnected.
Here is a helpful workaround which will keep the speaker's Bluetooth link working, by shutting off the wired audio input. Start with the speaker off. Press and hold the + and O buttons, then also press the Power button. The speaker will say “Speaker is on. Wired input off.” (for both the small and XL speakers).
Your speaker will now not recognize an audio cable plugged into the audio input connector, but Bluetooth connections will work perfectly -- so that you can still enjoy playing music wirelessly. This is a permanent fix for this problem.
If your speaker is still within its one year warranty coverage period, we can replace it for you. It takes two - three weeks from the time you ship your speaker to us to receive a refurbished replacement speaker. To request replacement, send an email request to Fugoo Support at firstname.lastname@example.org.
